Are you passionate about creating a better future for rural New Zealanders? Then a role in our market-leading Assessor team may be just what you are looking for!

Since 1905 FMG has been protecting the interests of rural New Zealand. Now over 100 years later, we’re still 100% New Zealand owned and the country’s leading rural insurance specialist. As an FMG Assessor, you will be integral to the local Waikato FMG team. As the local face of FMG’s claims team, based in our Hamilton office, you will be responsible for assessing all aspects of FMG’s property damage and agriculture claims. We pride ourselves on providing a quality, personalised service, so strong relationship-building skills are essential, in combination with a real passion, enthusiasm and commitment to delivering a quality service experience for our clients.

As you can see we’re looking for someone with enthusiasm, a passion for rural New Zealand and a commitment to customer service. To be successful in this role, a sound knowledge and experience in building construction is preferred, along with experience in the agriculture industry and previous assessing experience would be ideal. You will also be comfortable following best practice procedures, be able to work autonomously, while also enjoying the benefit of being part of a wider team.
