Due to an internal transfer, an exciting and rare opportunity has arisen at FMG for an Area Manager in the Southern Canterbury / North Otago regions to lead and coach a high performing and engaged sales team!
Reporting to the Head of Advice & Sales (South Island) and leading our Timaru, Asburton and Oamaru based teams, this role will be responsible for providing operational leadership to the local dedicated sales team and lead the business plan and growth strategy for this large region!
This role will also play a key role in the coaching of the regional sales team to continue to cultivate our high performing culture.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about rural NZ and feels excited about the opportunity to work for a Mutual and is driven to help shape FMG’s future!
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading and coaching successful sales professionals;
- Strong business acumen, as well as affinity to both rural NZ and the region;
- Experience in both influencing, building and managing meaningful and strong relationships with both internal and external customers and,
- Demonstrated ability to drive a strong, values driven, engaged culture!
